Theme park developers in Ohio announced plans Thursday to build a new $2 billion facility outside of Columbus.
According to Fox Cleveland, Blue Horseshoe Ventures representatives announced the new theme park will be dubbed Planet Oasis and will be built on a 350-acre lot near Interstate 71 in Delaware County, Ohio.

The Planet Oasis theme park will feature indoor skydiving, an indoor water park, BMX racing, a rollercoaster, indoor climbing walls, virtual reality games, an E-Sports arena, a bowling alley, laser tag and a 20-acre saltwater lake with sandy beaches.
The facility will also boast restaurants, hotels and a conference center.
Blue Horseshoe Ventures CEO David Glimcher said construction is currently scheduled to begin in December, with the first phase of the project likely to open in 2019. The new theme park is expected to create around 15,000 jobs in the Columbus area.
